The Tensor effect
In 1995, our chemists realised something remarkable: they were able to integrate an organic substance that was like a spring between the molecules of rubber. This allowed more energy to be stored in the rubber before it was transfered back to the ball. The first rubbers incorporating Tensor technology appeared in 1998, and today about a fifth of all table tennis players use rubbers featuring this technology.

The fascination of Tensor
The softness that is characteristic of Tensor rubbers means that the feel for the ball is significantly improved. But there is yet another new dimension: the sound of a Tensor rubber. There is a fascination in the very special click that a Tensor rubber produces. It indicates that the ball has been hit perfectly, and in so doing directs the player subconsciously towards the ideal bat angle. Tensor rubbers deliver more; the feel for the ball and the sound are equally fascinating.
Performance
The Tensor effect allows both speed and spin to be increased completely smoothly with all types of rubber. This has been proven using scientific measurement techniques. At the same time, all Tensor rubbers are also softer than traditional rubbers.
With Tensor rubbers there is always more speed, more spin, and yet greater softness.
Rebound-elasticity
Test it for yourself
The best way to try out Tensor's performance, the feel for the ball and the fascination is like this: attach a Tensor rubber to one side of your bat and a traditional one to the other. Then compare the two by playing with alternative faces. The result is always striking. Tensor makes table tennis more fun. And many players also find that they play better as soon as they start using Tensor.
